Simon O'Connor, Owner and director at Ocean Air Electrical is honest and reliable with a wealth of industry knowledge. Simon started the business with Laura off the back of a prosperous career in the mining industry, moving up the ranks from tradesman, to leading hand, Supervisor and Senior Supervisor in a few short years. Simon started Ocean Air Electrical to give back to the world in a more sustainable way and to be around for his wife, Laura and growing family.​

Laura Wright is Owner and General Manager at Ocean Air Electrical. Laura's Master's degree in Sustainability is the key to the renewable energy side of the business. The perfect mix of exceptional electrician and passionate environmentalist is what brought this company together. Laura is always looking for ways to improve the sustainability of the company and the community within the operations of Ocean Air Electrical.

Tommy Maguire started at Ocean Air Electrical as a fresh faced teenager straight out of year 11. Although Laura and Simon weren't looking for an apprentice, his positive attitude and guts to knock on the door of their Skennars Head home and ask for a job impressed them so much they just couldn't say no. He has proved to be an invaluable asset to the team and has now completed his apprenticeship and proving his stripes as a fully qualified tradesman.

Josh is the new kid on the block. Starting his apprenticeship with us in May 2023, Josh has already shown that he is eager to learn and will be starting his trade course at TAFE in July. We are so happy to have Josh on board and that extra pair of hands on site is a godsend.
